Holotype: He Chengquan, 1980, pl.1, fig.14
Age: Oligocene

Original description (He Chengquan, 1980)
Description: Proximocavate dinoflagellate cysts,· rhomboidal to taroform in outline with a short apical horn, cylindrical or coniform, length 2-9μm, width at base 4-8μm, surface of the horn smooth or perforate. Wall thin, periphragm smooth to scabrate, sometimes having one or two transverse folds and/or irregular folds.
Inner body present, it is close to the periphragm, deviating only at the base of the apical horn, evident or not. Archeopyle, if present, apical, formed by the rupture of the cyst along a more or less straight line a short distance behind the apex. Operculum attached. All specimens contain yellow-green nucleus-like bodies within shell.
Dimensions: Holotype: 45μm long, 45μm wide; apical horn 5μm long, base 7.5μm wide; inner body 40μm long, 42 Wide. Range: Shell 45-70μm long, 38-65μm wide; inner body 40-55μm long, 42-6W wide. Measured 11 specimens.
Comparison: This new species differs from other ones of the subgenus in the absence of sculpture on the periphram of body. It is somewhat similar to Pseudokomewuia ( Pseudokomewuia) laevigata (Fig.1-6), from which it differs in lacking antapical horn.
Occurrence: The Second member (Oligocene) of Yongning Group, Shangsi County, Guangxi; it has also been recorded from the Lower Coal member ( Oligocene) of Yongning Group, the Northern vicinity of Nanning, Guangxi.
