Description from He Chengquan, 1991, translated by Suning Hou, 07-01-2019
Description: The cyst is dorsal-ventral flattened, contour kite-shaped or pentagonal, sides nearly flat, the bottom is gently curved, length and width nearly equal. With an apical horn, conical, slightly constricted basally, length 12.5-15μm, there are two strongly diverging antapical horns at the antapex, nearly equal or one slightly larger, length 16-30μm, end blunt, far apart from each other (52-70μm); Both lateral horns are obvious, long 12.5-22μm, slightly tapering distally, the end is concave. The cingulum is annular, the boundary is marked by two parallel low ridges, very obvious on both lateral horns. The outer wall is medium-thick, the surface is densely granular, with obvious particles, which can be connected with each other into short wrinkles. The inner body is round or nearly circular, thin wall, smooth surface; It is separated from the outer wall widely, except at the horns, the outer cavity width of 3.5-5μm. The archeopyle is intercalary, the outline is round trapezoid, usually width larger than length. The operculum is completely separated, in situ preserved or adhered on the archeopyle edge.
Cyst length 125-140μm, width 112-132.5μm, the inner body length 85-96μm, width 85-94μm (measured 3); The holotype length 132.5μm, width of 132.5μm, inner body length of 92.5μm, width 94μm, apical horn length of 16μm, antapical horn length 16-20μm, lateral horns length 17.5μm.
