Membranilarnacia polycladiata Cookson and Eisenack in Eisenack, 1963a, p.100. Holotype: Cookson and Eisenack, 1958, p.51, pl.10, fig.8, as Membranilarnax sp. Taxonomic junior synonym: Membranilarnacia multifibrata (name not validly published), according to Slimani (2001a, p.193). Age: Albian.

Original diagnosis: Cookson and Eisenack, 1963, p.100
Shell spheroidal with a rather thick granular wall. Enveloping membrane thin and undulating, supported by rather numerous fine processes which divide in such a way as to give a funnel-like appearance. A large pylom is present in the single specimen available.
Dimensions: Overall diameter 71 µm, diameter of shell 45 µm, pylome 24 µm.
