Holotype: He Chengquan, 1991, pl.7, fig.9
Age: Middle Eocene

Description from He Chengquan, 1991, translated by Suning Hou, 07-01-2019
Description: The cyst is round and oval, no apical antapical horns. When the cingulum exists, it is located at the equator, shown by not very continuous horizontal fine ridges. Cyst wall is quite thick (4-5μm), composed of two distinct layers; the outer layer is thick, with a laminated structure, surface irregular reticular, mesh size varies, generally 4.m × 4μm- 5μm × 7μm; Inner layer thinner, dense without structure. The cyst is wrapped by a membrane, the surface of the membrane is fine reticular, or point-reticular-wrinkle, the reticulate seems to be composed of rope-like ridges, and the membrane is supported by many short processes. The edge is slightly wave-like, sometimes partially damaged; The processes fine, solid, located at the corner of the adjacent mesh, length 2.5μm. Archeopyle significant, precingular, P-type, the edge round angular. Operculum completely separated and attached to the edge of the archeopyle. The total length 84-95μm, width 72.5-80μm, the cyst length 70-85μm, width 67-75μm (measured 2); Holotype total length 95μm, width 72.5μm, cyst body length 85μm, width 67μm.
Location and stratigraphy: Wuqia County Basebulak; Wulagen fm.
