Description from He Chengquan, 1991, translated by Suning Hou, 07-01-2019
Description: The cyst is medium, ventral-dorsal flatened, outline nearly oval--pentagonal, length larger than width or almost equal. Upper cyst conical, edges straight or slightly convex; Apical horn is not significant, the tophas a top hole, and sometimes a small papillary top develops. Lower cyst inverted trapezoid, tail part square-round or bevel edge shape, lack of antapical horn, horn distance (antapical length) 12-20μm. The cingulum is clear, shallow and flat, and located in the equator, annular and width 6-8μm. The edges are decorated with fine ridges, ridge smooth or granular. Sulcusl existence is limited to the lower cyst. Cyst wall is thin, surface granular, on most specimens the particles are clear, in certain specimens particles are tiny. No paratabulation and inner body. Archeopyle is not obvious, combined, (tl3P) a type. Operculum preserved in situ. Cyst length 48.5-59μm, width 40-50μm (measured 6); Holotype length 52.5μm, width 45μm, cingulum width 6μm.
