Proximate, spheroidal to subspheroidal cyst with a two-layered wall. Surface covered with undulate, membranous muri. Archeopyle type (A).

The cyst is usually spherical, without paratabulation, parasulcus or paracingulum. The [position of the] ventral side of the cyst and six precingular paraplates are indicated only by the sulcal notch and the zigzag course of the parasulcus. Undulate, basally thickened, smooth membranes, which perhaps must be interpreted as double-walled folds of the periphragm, cover and subdivide the surface of the cyst. A regular reticulum is not developed. Incomplete lumina with irregular outline and variable size, surrounded by muri, connect to form a more or less continuous maze. The height of the muri varies. In places the membranes have been reduced to basal ridges.
Affinities:
Below 1981, p.34: compared this species with Cassiculosphaeridia reticulata Davey, 1969 and Cassiculosphaeridia magna Davey, 1974. He noted that intermediate forms occur between Cassiculosphaeridia tazadensis and Cassiculosphaeridia reticulata.
