Palaeoperidinium oviforme Jin Guangxing, He Chengquan and Zhu Shenzhao in He Chengquan et al., 1989, p.58, pl.4, fig.20. Holotype: He Chengquan et al., 1989, pl.4, fig.20. Mao Shaozhi et al. (1995, p.99) indicated that this name should be restricted to the holotype. Questionable assignment: Evitt et al. (1998, p.48). Age: early Tertiary.
