Description from He Chengquan, 1991, translated by Suning Hou, 07-01-2019
Description: The cyst dorsal ventra flattened, outline pentagonal. Cyst is divided into two not equal parts: upper cyst large, conical, sides straight or slightly concave or convex, a short apical horn extends at the top, 5-6μm long, top blunt; Lower cyst small, inverted trapezoid, the sides straight- slightly convex, with equal or slightly unequal two antapical horns, extending backwards parallel to each other, blunt conical, its length 5-15μm, mostly 5-7 .5μm.
Cingulum deviates to the rear of the cyst, shallow flat, annular, 5-7.5μm wide, the ridges are the boundary.
Sulcus obvious, trapezoidal, limited to the lower cyst.
No paratabulation or inner body.
Cyst wall thin, single layer or periphragm and endophragm can only be seen in apical antapical horns, the surface granular and granular-rod-like protrusions, ornamentation varies in different specimens, sometimes is mainly particles, sometimes is mainly fine particles and slight streaks.
Archeopyle obvious, combined type, (Atl3P) -type, often dictated by archeopyle over top crevasses, or there is a double outline often along the flattened dorsal-ventral surface of the upper cyst. Operculum completely separated, fall off or in situ preserve.

Dimension: Cyst length 57.5-67.5μm, width 35-50μm (measured 4), Holotype length 65μm, width 48μm, apical horn length 5μm, two antapical horns length 5μm, cingulum width 6.5μm.

Affinities/Comparison:
The new species is different from known species in the genus by short apical and antapical horns, the two antapical horns do not diverge, cingulum deviation of the rear, the surface with particles and rod-shaped protrusions and other characteristics.
