Description from He Chengquan, 1991, translated by Suning Hou, 07-01-2019
Description: Body nearly oval, the upper and lower cyst nearly equal, with a long apical horn, length 25-35 μm, Tapering and bending distally, with 2 branches in the middle, the end of 2 branches are bifurcated or simple, or simple. With tabulation and a large number of processes; The tabulation is marked by low smooth ridges as a boundary; Processes are generally distributed in the apex, antapex and cingulum area, they can be divided into two types: majority of processes coarse, hollow (?), distally trifurcated, such processes are located in the gonal positions of the precingular and postcingular plates; Few processes fine, distally bifurcated or simple, they are only in the cingulum and (or) antapex. The ends of the process branches have small furcations. There is a seam septa occasionally near the sulcus in the lower cyst, which has a row of thin and short processes, 6-7, length 10μm, the end is micro bifurcated (may be trifurcated). Cingulum narrow, width 4μm, equatorial position. Cyst wall thickness about 1 μm, surface fine granular, process surface smooth. Aecheopyle precingular, formed by the loss of the third precingular plate. Operculum free. Body length 50-57μm, width 47-50μm, process length 14-17 μm (measured 2); ,Holotype length 50μm, width 50μm, apical horn length 35 μm.
