Translation Archangelsky, 1969: LPP
Original diagnosis: Archangelsky, 1969, p.200: Cleistosphaeridium patagonicum
Cyst body sphaerical to oval, membrane granulate. Processes of equal length, numerous, irregulary distributed, thin with broad bases, endin in round thickenings or anchor-like, occasionally furcate, straight or wavy. Opening large, ?apical. Dimensions: Holotype - 28x28 µm, processes 10 µm. Range - length 25-31 µm, breadth 17-30 µm, processes 7-12 µm.
