Now Beaumontella?. Originally Baltisphaeridium, subsequently (and now) Beaumontella?; see also Solisphaeridium (an acritarch genus; combination not validly published). In questionably transferring this species to Beaumontella Below, 1987, Below, 1987 observed that it may represent acritarchs.
