Baltisphaeridium cristatum, (Downie, 1958), Downie and Sarjeant, 1965

Now Cymatiogalea (an acritarch genus). Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Baltisphaeridium, thirdly Priscogalea (an acritarch genus), fourthly (and now) Cymatiogalea (an acritarch genus).
Tax. sr. synonym of the acritarch species Cymatiogalea polygonomorpha Gorka, 1967, according to Rasul, 1974.
Sr. homonym of the acritarch species Baltisphaeridium cristatum Grishina in Grishina and Klenina, 1981. This combination was not validly published in Eisenack, 1958 since that author did not fully reference the basionym.
