Original description: Cookson and Eisenack, 1960, p.4
Shell rather thick-walled, nearly circular in outline, with a short apical horn; epitheca ornamented on the ventral surface with a low, thin-walled reticulum which may extend to the upper portion of the hypotheca. Pylome semicircular to broadly triangular.
Dimensions: Holotype: 94 µm long, 84 µm broad; horn 12 µm, pylome 26x37 µm. Range: 86-90 µm long, 84-86 µm broad.
