Combination illegitimate; jr. homonym of Baltisphaeridium robustum Eisenack, 1963.
Now Multiplicisphaeridium (an acritarch genus). Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Baltisphaeridium (combination illegitimate), thirdly (and now) Multiplicisphaeridium.
Sr. homonym of Baltisphaeridium robustum Yin Leiming in Chen Yunyuan et al., 1985. This combination was not validly published in Downie and Sarjeant, 1963 since these authors did not fully reference the basionym.
