Buedingiisphaeridium astartes, (Sannemann, 1955), Moreau-Benoit, 1974

Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Baltisphaeridium (an acritarch genus), thirdly (and now) Buedingiisphaeridium. Moreau-Benoit, 1974 indicated the basionym of this species to be Baltisphaeridium astartes.
