Dilatisphaera dameryensis Dorning, 1981

Now Palaeohystrichosphaeridium williereae ssp. dameryensis (an acritarch subspecies). Originally Dilatisphaera dameryensis, subsequently Palaeohystrichosphaeridium williereae ssp. dameryense (an acritarch subspecies). The combination Palaeohystrichosphaeridium williereae ssp. dameryensis was not validly published in Eiserhardt, 1986 since that author did not specify the taxonomic rank; he gave the citation, Palaeohystrichosphaeridium williereae dameryensis. The combination Palaeohystrichosphaeridium williereae ssp. dameryensis was correctly published in Fensome et al., 1990.
