Now Dapsilidinium. Originally Micrhystridium, subsequently Cleistosphaeridium, thirdly Polysphaeridium, fourthly Chlamydophorella, fifthly (and now) Dapsilidinium. Tax. sr. synonym of Hystrichosphaeridium huguoniotii Valensi, 1955, according to Wheeler and Sarjeant, 1990.
Tax. sr. synonym of Hystrichosphaeridium ancoriferum Cookson and Eisenack, 1960, according to Wheeler and Sarjeant, 1990. Lentin and Williams, 1989 retained
this species in Micrhystridium.

Age: Late Cretaceous
