Micrhystridium stimuliferum
Micrhystridium stimuliferum (Deflandre, 1938) Cramer and Diez, 1979
Combination not validly published since Cramer and Diez, 1979 did not fully reference the basionym.
Now Solisphaeridium (an acritarch genus). Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Baltisphaeridium (an acritarch genus), thirdly (and now)
Solisphaeridium (an acritarch genus), fourthly Micrhystridium (combination not validly published); see also Filisphaeridium (an acritarch genus; combination not
validly published). Cramer and Diez, 1979 implied that this species has, at some time, been transferred to Micrhystridium; however, they provided no reference to such a transfer. Apparently Cramer and Diez, 1979 did not intend to propose this combination.
Holotype: Deflandre, 1938, pl.10, fig.10
Age: Late Jurassic.
