Multiplicisphaeridium picorricum (Cramer, 1964) Lister, 1970
Originally Micrhystridium (an acritarch genus), subsequently Multiplicisphaeridium; see also Hystrichosphaeridium (combination not validly published).
Tax. jr. synonym of the acritarch species Baltisphaeridium (now Multiplicisphaeridium) cladum Downie, 1963, according to Colbath, 1979. Eisenack et al., 1973 considered that the specimens placed in Multiplicisphaeridium cf.
picorricum by Lister, 1970 do not belong to this species. However, this combination is still attributable to Lister, 1970.
