Multiplicisphaeridium vestitum (Deflandre, 1938) Pocock, 1972
Now Surculosphaeridium?. Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Baltisphaeridium (an acritarch genus), thirdly Surculosphaeridium, fourthly (and now) Surculosphaeridium?, fifthly Multiplicisphaeridium, sixthly Systematophora. Tax. sr. synonym of Polystephanosphaera valensii Sarjeant, 1960, according to Courtinat, 1989. At the time of the transfer, Pocock, 1972 intimated that he considered the inclusion of this species in Multiplicisphaeridium as provisional.
