Veryhachium balticum (Eisenack, 1951) Eisenack, 1959

Now Goniosphaeridium (an acritarch genus). Originally Hystrichosphaeridium,
subsequently Veryhachium, thirdly (and now) Goniosphaeridium (an acritarch genus), fourthly Baltisphaeridium (an acritarch genus); see also Pulvinosphaeridium (an acritarch genus; combination not validly published).
Sr. homonym of the acritarch species Veryhachium balticum Yankauskas and Vaitekunene, 1972. This combination was not validly published in Deunff, 1954 since that author neither fully referenced the basionym nor clearly used the name Veryhachium balticum.
