The neotype illustrated in Islam, 1993 (pl.1, fig.12) shows an apical tA archeopyle and indicates partial tabulation by groups of processes and the cingulum by a narrow medial belt bare of processes.
Original description (De Coninck, 1969) Translation PKB 2024:
Diagnosis: A more or less ovoid shell, quite small, bears many fine and full processes. They are flexible and not very branched. Their undulating ends connect the processes together. Some appendages dichotomize near their base. The absence of a recognizable archaeopyle as well as the number of processes and their appearance make me doubt the attribution to the genus Adnatosphaeridium. These organisms differ markedly from other species of the genus. Body dimensions: between 20 μ and 30 μ. Process height: from 5 μ to 10 μ. Total span: from 30 μ to 40 μ. Remarks: Many organisms have processes of varying length from one individual to another and which are curved, bifurcated or not and whose distal connections are less apparent. It was only after closer examination that I classified them in this species. The location of their processes is clear, giving us the impression that the surface of the shell is coarsely granulated. I especially observed their presence in the lower deposits of the Ypresian of Kallo, while the organisms with processes Typical longer ones are rare and only take advantage in the -307 m level.
