Originally Azonotetraporina (name not validly published, Acritarch), subsequently Tetraporina (Acritarch), thirdly (and now) Horologinella. This species probably represents acritarchs.
The name Azonotetraporina horologia was not validly published in Staplin (1960) since the generic name Azonotetraporina was not validly published.

Age: Carboniferous (Late Mississippian)
