Description:
Cyst is bilaminar, fairly small, slightly elongated, with one apical and two antapical horns. Apical horn is pointed and just barely projecting, so that apex has conical shape. Antapical horns are very small and pointed. Cyst wall is bilaminar, autophragm and periphragm are close to each other. Periphragm is smooth, shagreened or granular.
No signs of paratabulation, apart from structure of archeopyle are present.

Affinities/Comparison:
Differs from all known species of genus in shape of body. Closest species, B. jaegeri (Alberti) Brideaux, has longer horns. Differs from B. pelliferum (Alberti) Brideaux in more elongated body, conical apical horn, and character of sculpture.
