Description: Iosifova, 1992, p. 76: Kiokansium brevispinosum
Cysts are proximate, spherical, bilaminar. There are no signs of paratabulation apart from structure of archeopyle. Periphragm is thin and smooth. Processes are enclosed, short, pointed, evenly and frequently distributed over whole body. Archeopyle is 2P. Operculum is free.

Comparison. Differs from all known species genus in its very short and closely spaced processes.
