Description. Dodekova 1994, p. 27
Chorate cyst with ellipsoidal body and moderate in number of processes. The processes are long, have relatively broad bases, after that narrowed gradually and taper distally in closed conical tips, rarely blunt. The processes have perforations with variable size at its full length but they may be seen with great microscopical magnification. The surface of the autophragm is scabrate. Archeopyle apical, type tA. Operculum free. All observed specimens possess an archeopyle.

Remarks. Dodekova 1994, p. 27: The presence of long, broad and perforate processes distinguishes P. perofrospineum from all previously described species.
