Rhombodinium longimanum
Rhombodinium l?longimanum Vozzhennikova, 1967, p.171, pl.92, figs.1–3; pl.93, figs.1–6; pl.94, figs.1–3. Holotype: Vozzhennikova, 1967, pl.92, fig.1; pl.93, fig.1; Lentin and Vozzhennikova, 1990, pl.7, figs.1,3; text-fig.41. Questionable assignment: Williams et al. (2015, p.311). Lentin and Vozzhennikova (1990, p.77–78) provided an "expanded description" for this species. Age: Priabonian.

Rhombodinium longimanum Vozzhennikova, 1967. According to Lentin and Vozzhennikova (1990), Rhombodinium longimanum is rhomboidal with a low, broadly conical apical horn; two equal, long pericingular horns and one or two unequal symmetrically located antapical horns; endocyst roundly rhomboidal; cornucavate to occasionally circumcavate. Periphragm variably smooth to finely granulose. Paratabulation indicated by the archeopyle and cingulum peridinioid. Periarcheopyle is quadra 2a resulting from the loss or displacement of paraplate 2a or soleiform 2a, perioperculum and endoperculum free or attached. Paracingulum indicated by indentations on extremities of the lateral horns and may occasionally be indicated by indistinct parallel ridges on the dorsal and ventral surfaces. Parasulcus not indicated. Lentin and Vozzhennikova could not confirm the presence of a soleiform archeopyle in the type material. Size: overall length 122-166 µm, width 161-193 µm, length of endocyst 80-106 µm, width 87-111 µm..

Original description: Vozzhennikova, 1967, p. 171
Theca romboidal, with straight or concave lateral sides. Apical horn conical, sometimes terminating in a small tubercle. Antapical horns irregularly developed: one may be barely discernible or completely absent, the other small, acute and slightly attenuated. Lateral horns strongly attenuated, their width decreasing somewhat towards the distal end which is rounded and has a small indentation. The transverse furrow is clearly discernible on the lateral horns and may sometimes be seen on the ventral and dorsal sides. Internal body oval-quadrangular and closely appressed to the lateral walls of the theca. Its surface is smooth to granular. Theca coloured, thin-walled, smooth or granular. Pylome trapeziform. Dimensions: Holotype: length of theca 156.4 µm, breadth 161 µm, length of apical horn 27.6 µm, length of antapical horns 32.1 µm, length of lateral horns 32.1 µm, length of internal body 101.2 µm, breadth 96.9 µm, pylome 23.4x13.6 µm. In other specimens: length of theca 121.9-165.6 µm, breadth 161.0-193.2 µm, length of apical horn 13.8-26.6 µm, length of antapical horns 23-32.1 µm, length of lateral horns 32.1-50 µm, length of internal body 80.5-105.8 µm, breadth 87.4-110.7 µm, pylome 25.3x20.7 µm.
