Description from He Chengquan, 1991, translated by Suning Hou, 07-01-2019
Description: The outline of the body is nearly circular or ellipse. Wall thin, about 1μm thick, two layers or not clear, the outer wall surface fine granular, some of the particles connected into short wrinkles. With a large number of non-tabular processes, more than 30, thin (1-2.5μm wide), straight or curved, solid or only the wide base slightly hollow, their lengths are concomitant; Shape of the processes variable, some are like hand, distally expanded and with 3-6 branches; Branches often straight, a few bent backwards or extending laterally; Some spiny, end simple; Some strip, ends simple or head like or bifurcated; Usually mainly hand-shaped and strip-shaped process, the ratio varies in different specimens; Process surface smooth, occasionally a little perforated. Archeopyle apical, (tA) type, the edge angular. Operculum sheded or in-situ preserved. The body length 60-78μm, width 48-65μm, process length 20-30μm (measured 3); Holotype length 60μm, width 65μm, the process length 25 μm, width 1-2μm.
Location and stratigraphy: Wuqia county Basebulak, Qimugen fm, at the bottom of the upper member.
