From Fensome et al., 2019:
Impletosphaeridium pachydermum (Cookson and Eisenack, 1960b, p.251–252, pl.38, fig.5; text-fig.5) Masure in Fauconnier and
Masure, 2004, p.343. Holotype: Cookson and Eisenack, 1960b, pl.38, fig.5; Fauconnier and Masure, 2004, pl.48, fig.10. Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Polysphaeridium, thirdly Hystrichosphaeridium?, fourthly Dapsilidinium, fifthly (and now) Impletosphaeridium. Age: Oxfordian–Tithonian.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Original description: Cookson and Eisenack, 1960, p.251
Shell sphaerical, thick-walled (c.3-6 µm) with closely to sparsely arranged short, solid appandages of varying shape some being simple with ¦ capitate ends others flattened and equally or unequally bifurcate.
Dimensions: holotype - diameter 105 µm, diameter of shell 95 µm. Range - diameter 74-138 µm, diameter of shell 70-100 µm. Appandages 4-10 µm long.
