Parabohaidina granulata*
Parabohaidina "granulata" (He Chengquan, 1984b, p.156–157, pl.2, figs.22–27; text-fig.1) He Chengquan et al., 2009, p.465. Emendation: Xu Jinli and Mao Shaozhi, 1989, p.302.
Combination illegitimate — senior homonym: Parabohaidina granulata Jiabo 1978.
NOW Parabohaidina arenata. Originally Conicoidium granulatum, subsequently Parabohaidina granulata (Jiabo) He Chengquan et al. (illegitimate combination, non Parabohaidina granulata Jiabo), thirdly (and now) Parabohaidina arenata.
Taxonomic senior synonym: Parabohaidina granulata Jiabo, according to Sun Xuekun (1994, p.82) ) — however, He Chengquan et al. (2009, p.454) retained this species separately.
Holotype: He Chengquan, 1984b, pl.2, fig.26.
Age: Tertiary.

Description from He Chengquan, 1984b (translated from Chinese with Google):
Parabohaidina granulata Jiabo 1978
(Plate I, Figures 10-18)
1978 Paraboahidina granulata Jiabo, Early Tertiary Dinophytes and Amblystachians of the Bohai Sea Coast, p. 44, plate 17, figure 5.
The shell is 45-60 microns long and 53-60 microns wide.
Note: The current specimens generally show a palaeoostium; when the grains are well developed, they are partially connected and wrinkled; the outer wall of the top of some specimens is thickened and the color becomes darker; in some specimens, the shell is wider than it is long, and the poles are underdeveloped, showing narrow edges.
Origin: Shangsi, Guangxi, the second section of the Yongning Group; the northern suburbs of Nanning, the lower coal-bearing section of the Yongning Group.

Emended description: Xu Jinli and Mao Shaozhi, 1989
Cyst broad conical to ovoid with a short and rounded apical extension. Epitract subcircular, much larger than the hypotract, which is poorly developed or just a narrow piece extended from the equator. 1-2 girdle folds generally developed, when two present, each one on each dorsal and ventral side. Girdle projection absent. Wall thin, autophragm, its surface ornamented with granules of about 0.5 µm across, resulting in the fine wavy outline. Accessory sutures separated the apical and intercalary series as well as the individual plate of intercalary series indicate the combination archeopyle of tAa+3Ia type. Four pieces of opercula attached to the cyst and kept in situ. Cyst medium in size, 35.5 - 45.5µm long and 35.7 - 45.5 µm wide.
Affinities:
Xu Jinli and Mao Shaozhi, 1989
The present described specimens are very similar to the holotype from the Second Member of Yuning Group, Shangsi County, Guangxi province (middle Miocene) except for the archeopyle developed here.
