Senoniasphaera palla
From Fensome et al., 2019:
Senoniasphaera palla Louwye, 1997, p.153, pl.2, figs.3,6. Holotype: Louwye, 1997, pl.2, figs.3,6; Fensome et al., 2019a, fig.17D Age: Turonian.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Original description (Louwye, 1997):
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Comments Fensome et al., 2019a:
In his diagnosis for this species Louwye (1997, p. 153) reported that “The endophragm forms low, solid and pillarlike protrusions which support the periphragm and mark subcircular thickenings on the periphragm.” However, connections between wall layers are sparse, so we retain this species in Senoniasphaera.
Stratigraphical occurrence. Louwye (1997) described this species from the Turonian of Belgium.
