Original description Vasilyeva, 2012:

Named in honor of palynologist Inessa Arsenyevna Kulkova.

Diagnosis. Medium-sized, broadly oval peridiniod cyst with pointed, well-defined apical and two antapical horns. Has a thick granulated periphragm and a thin endophragm. The cyst is cornucopial or bicavatial. Large intercalary archeopyle, type I (1a or 1a+2a+3a).

Diagnosis. Wide-oval peridinioid cyst of mid-size. Pericyst has well expressed small pointed and two antapical horns. Perifragm is thick, granules. Endophragm is thin. Cyst is bicavate or cornucavate. Archeopyle is large intercalary, type I (1a or 1a+2a). Cingulum is distinct, wide. Sulcus is expressed on the ventral wide low depressions.
