Species, of Pyxidinopsis with a periphragm texture composed of sharply defined short ridges which tend to be straight, and which partially interconnect at well-defined angles to form an incomplete polygonal reticulum. Endophragm smooth.
Seventeen measured specimens range in maximum dimension from 58 to 67 µm. The cingulum index, as measured from the base of the archeopyle, ranges from 47 to 55 µm.
Size: Holotype: length 63 µm, width 52 µm.
