Originally Dilatisphaera dameryensis, subsequently Palaeohystrichosphaeridium williereae subsp. dameryense (Acritarch), thirdly (and now) Dilatisphaera williereae subsp. dameryensis.
Holotype: Dorning, 1981, pl.2, fig.6.
Age: Silurian (Llandovery).
