Stanfordella Helenes and Lucas-Clark, 1997. According to Helenes and Lucas-Clark (1997, p.180), Stanfordella has a weakly developed apical horn and cavation, circular cingular cross-section, and a paratabulation pattern including the contacts 1i/1u (6"/1`), 6/1u (5"/1`), and au/Iu (1c/1``` ), and absence of accessory K intercalary paraplates. Forms included in this genus are Tithonian-Albian. Species included in the genus are S. granulosa sp. nov., S ? cretacea , S. exsanguia , S. fastigiata and S. ordocava . Commonly the cyst is granulate, It may have a cornucavate epicyst and a suturocavate hypocyst. The Y paraplate is asymmetrical quadrate.
