Palinologia, num. extraord. 1: 273-281 Abstract: Samples, both onshore and offshore, from Mid-Cretaceous strata in the Netherlands have been analyzed in the last decade for palynomorphs. These studies permit a three-fold dinoflagellate zonation: (1) the top of the Dingodinium cerviculum Zone (Aptian); (2) an unnamed Lower-Middle Albian Zone, and (3) the Upper Albian to Cenomanian Litosphaeridium siphoniphorum Zone.
