Elf-Aquitaine vol.12, no.1 pp.361-381 pl.6 (in French) The amendment of the genus Maghrebinia BELOW, 1981, is based on the restudy of the holotypes of the type species and other species. The revision of the holotype shows that the paratabulation of Maghrebinia follows the standard sexiform gonyau- lacoid pattern. Maghrebinia is characterized by a large non tabulated ventral area, penitabular, intratabular and parasutural septa and processes on a same cyst and a (tA)a archeopyle with precingular accessory sutures. Maghrebinia perforata mirabilis BELOW, 1984, is erected at the specific level.
