Siegl-Farkas, A., 1996. Dinoflagellata stratigraphy of the Upper Cretaceous formations in the Transdanubian Central Range, Hungary (in Hungarian). Andreansky emlekkotes, 1996, pp. 117-125 (in Hungarian) Upper Cretaceous formations can be tound in four territories in Hungary. The most complete sequence devcloped in the Transdanubian Central Range. Here the marine formations - the Jako Marl, the Ugod Limestone and the youngest Polany Marl Formation - developed continuously following the fluvial-lacustrine sediments. Based on palynology, malacology and foraminitera stratigraphy the formations in the Trans-danubian Central Range are ranged with different periods of the Senonian.
