Bujak, J.P., Downie, C., Eaton, G.L. and Williams, G.L., 1980; Dinoflagellate cyst zonation of the Eocene, southern England. Bujak, J.P. et al. 1980a pp.15-26 figs.1 Thirteen dinoflagellate cyst assemblage zones are recognized from the London Clay (3 LC-zones), Bracklesham Beds (5 B-zones) and the Barton Beds (5 BAR-zones). No cysts recorded from the Bagshot Sands. Entries and exits of some species are considered stratigraphically significant for the Eocene of Southern England. Stratigraphic ranges of other species are less certain.
