    Suibindia punctata

                Suibindia punctata Yu Jingxian, 1982
Holotype: Yu Jingxian, 1982, pl.8, fig.12
Age: Late Jurassic-early Cretaceous
Description: Cysts longly elliptical, elongated in dorsoventral direction. Length approximately twice the width. Periphragm only; thin; granulate ornamentation. One inconspicuous apical horn that is small, polygonal and an extension of the epicyst. Paracingulum annular, about 4 µm wide. Boundary formed by fine ridges on edge. Paracingulum divides cyst into approximately equal upper and lower sections. Epicyst triangular. Hypocyst trapezoidal. Antapex flat and smooth. Ventral section has long vertical creases, equal in length to length of cyst. Apical archeopyle.
Size: Cysts 33 - 43 µm long and 23 - 25 µm wide.
Comparison: This species is distinguished from S. ovata in that the length of its cysts are approximately twice their width and the cysts bear granulate ornamentation.
