Original description: [Hultberg, 1985, p. 114]:

Description:
Cavate cyst, composed of autophragm and ectophragm, separated by a pericoel.
The surface of the autophragm is slightly granulate. The ectophragm is irregular, and strongly reticulate. The shape of the autophragm is ellipsoidal. The shape of the ectophragm is subspherical.
No trace of paratabulation is present.
The ornamentation consists of numerous slender, nontabular processes, formed by the autophragm. The process-tips are interconnected by the reticulate ectophragm. The length of the processes is approximately 0.5x the diameter of the endophragm.
The archeopyle is apical, type tA. Operculum free.
Paracingulum and parasulcus are not discernible.
