Arrangement of vesicles/plates on the dinoflagellate amphiesma PR, 5’, 6a, 7’’, 8c, 7’’’, 3’’’’, as, y, z, ps.
Cystic habit proximate, acavate, ellipsoidal, ovaloidal, equatorial cross section circular or slightly compressed dorsoventrally; size small; wall composed of thin pedium, luxuria vermiculate to granular, forming long, thin, tangled and densely interwoven filaments which are appressed to the surface, nonareate; areation formula NR PR/PR (arch), NR1’, 2’(arch), 3’(arch), 4’(arch), NR5, 1a(arch), 2a(arch), 3a(arch), 4a(arch), NR5a, NR6a, NR’’, NRc/Xc, NR’’’, NR’’’’, NRs/XS; cingulum and hypocytal sulcus recognizable at shallow indentations; archaeopyle complex, apical and antorior intercalary, PR + 2’ + 3’ + 4’+ 1a + 2a + 3a + $a; operculum solvate, secate, general opercular formula Pr(s) + 2’(s) + 3’(s) + 4’(s) + 1a(s) + 2a(s) + 3a(s) + 4a(s).
